Nice to meet you, I’m Joey!

I was born and raised right here in Pinellas County and graduated from East Lake High School. This isn’t just the area I work in, it’s home. The streets, neighborhoods, and cities around the Tampa Bay Area are the same places I grew up playing in, fishing around, and later building a business in.

I was first introduced to real estate in 2018 by absolute luck. Quickly, I realized how many people had unwanted properties they needed to sell and I knew I was able to help them! I bought my first house in 2019 and have since helped over 75 homeowners sell their unwanted homes in the Tampa Bay Area!

Misty Buys Houses is named after my dog, Misty. She’s the goofy face behind the name and a daily reminder that loyalty and trust always come first. When people reach out to sell their house in Florida, they’re not calling a big corporate office. They’re getting me, a local guy, and a neighbor that genuinely cares.

My job isn’t just buy houses, I solve real estate problems! I’m passionate about helping homeowners understand all their options and helping navigate tough situations with clear, honest guidance so they can make the decision that’s truly best for them and their family.

The best part about working with me? I’m a real person, not just some voice on the phone! Outside of real estate, I spend my time fishing, playing frisbee with Misty, spending time with my family, and traveling as much as possible! My favorite part about real estate is that it has given me the freedom to spend more time doing the things I enjoy with the people I love! Life is too short to not enjoy it!
